Alfred Hitchcock! (Final bracket results HERE)

In the end, there wasn’t much competition for Hitchcock, winning every round against some very heavyweight directors very comfortably for the most part.

I believe Hitchcock to be a worthy winner; he balances the art and entertainment values of cinema more intelligently than any other director in the history of film. He didn’t always get it right… but when he did, the art he created was sure to be remembered as some of the best the world of cinema has to offer.

A big thank you to everyone who voted in the polls, I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did!
